‘We want to thank you for making the process of cremation so painless for us. We know that you have recently started your business and that it is not that busy right now. We want to let you know that we will certainly refer you to anyone needing such a service. We believe that such a service is very much needed in this area, especially for small acreage owners like ourselves who have a small hobby farm raising goats. We are not aware of any other pet crematory service that will take goats or horses. Thank you again for your support, may your business continue to grow.

‘Dear Dave: I must thank you for being there for me in my time of sorrow, even on a Sunday. I wish you all the success as you provide an important service to any animal owner. I will try and inform my friends and associates of your service; all the best in your business endeavor Thanks again, you were definitely there for me when I needed it Sincerely, Glenn
‘Dave, Thank-you for the personal and professional service you provided my husband and I with our loss of Oscar. We will not hesitate to recommend you to family and friends that sadly may require such service, Jessica’
‘Dear Dave & Shaun. No one wants to think about their pet passing, whether unexpected or expected. You both went above and beyond the call of duty, Dave replying while on vacation and getting in touch with Shaun….. Shaun, offering to pick up my pup no matter what the hour….And being available all weekend long.. Thank you so much for your compassion, understanding, and making this a personal experience. And thank you for taking care of my boy, and having him back to me in such a short period of time. You made the entire process as painless as possible..You treated me with concern and made me feel like a genuine friend, not a merely a client… I will refer you to all my fellow pet owners, HIGHLY…. Thank you for taking care of my Argos. Extra pets to Bailey Thank you from the bottom of my heart’,

‘For anyone who has found themselves on this web page you are obviously here for a reason. The loss of our first pet was a time that we will never forget and has left a big hole in our lives. I can tell you first hand that Dave is truly someone that “gets it”. He treated us and our dog Moby with the utmost compassion and respect. His service was first class and we are grateful that we made the decision to make the trip out to Atim Creek. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Mike, Barb & Moby
Here is the story that I was telling you about:Permission by Ron Harris
“Just a Dog” From time to time, people tell me, “lighten up, it’s just a dog,” or, “that’s a lot of money for just a dog.” They don’t understand the distance traveled, the time spent, or the costs involved for “just a dog”. Some of my proudest moments have come about with “just a dog”. Many hours have passed and my only company was “just a dog”, but I did not once feel slighted. Some of my saddest moments have been brought about by “just a dog”, and in those days of darkness, the gentle touch of “just a dog” gave me comfort and reason to overcome the day. If you, too, think it’s “just a dog,” then you will probably understand phrases like “just a friend,” “just a sunrise,” or “just a promise.” “Just a dog” brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust, and pure unbridled joy. “Just a dog” brings out the compassion and patience that make me a better person. Because of “just a dog” I will rise early, take long walks and look longingly to the future. So, for me, and folks like me, it’s not “just a dog” but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the fond memories of the past, and the pure joy of the moment. “Just a dog” brings out what’s good in me and diverts my thoughts away from myself and the worries of the day. I hope that someday they can understand that it’s not “just a dog” but the thing that gives me humanity and keeps me from being “just a human.” So the next time you hear the phrase “just a dog.” just smile, because they “just don’t understand.”
‘I’ve cremated 2 pets in the past at 2 other pet crematories and they do not even come close to my experience with Dave at Atim Creek. Dave you have truly found your calling and I could never have hoped to have found someone better than you in taking care of my baby “Thumper”. You were a Godsend to me and a very compassionate man. I was unsure of when I would be able to get “Thumper” out to you and you went out of your way and came to Edmonton to pick her up with no charge. This meant more to me then you can imagine. I had her remains back the same day in the most beautiful wooden box urn. Everything was just perfect and felt perfect despite my horrible situation. I could tell that you put your heart into this and truly do care for your customers. Your pricing was great and affordable for me as I wasn’t prepared financially for this to happen. My best little friend is gone but I feel her here with me in spirit and will always have her with me thanks to you. I can’t express how much comfort you have given me. I encourage you to put up an ad in the yellow pages as soon as you can as that was the first place I had begun my search. No one has called me back from those other places, even two days later. I found you on the internet and thank God I did. You were available for me immediately. Now I can go forth with my grieving knowing that I have my babies’ remains here with me. I honestly have so much to say but the words can’t even come close to how grateful I am for you and your work. I wish you great success and when the time comes for our black lab (hopefully not a very long time) we will definitely come back to see you. Thank you again so much and God bless you!!!
‘We arrived at ATIM CREEK PET CREMATORY yesterday afternoon. Bailey was there to greet us. Silly dog. Dave is very caring, and shows great professionalism in his business, with a huge amount of caring. From the time we arrived there, I felt at peace. I instantly knew everything was going to be ok. I cried so much over Shad, (my Border Collie), from the time she passed till I arrived there. I saw the place where the cremation would happen and it didn’t bother me. Dave helped me do her paw print so I could have a tattoo later if I choose, as well as take pictures of her paw. He helped me pick out what I wanted for her and never pressured me into spending anything I wasn’t prepared for. He is very affordable-if that is a concern. I know it\’s not that we wouldn’t spend or do whatever it takes for our friends, but his main concern is what he can do for you and your friend. Even though it was Thanksgiving Day, you made your service available. Totally unbelievable everything you did for Shad. She will always be with me now. Last night after we got home and her ROCK URN was on the table, Will said to me, “you need to put that some place where it doesn’t get broken.” My reply was, “yes your right. I should put it on your pillow, since she loved the pillows, (my pillow pup), and then she can always rest and be safe by me.” She is resting by my bed now. No words can explain how compassionate you are, and what a comforting experience I had. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING
‘I would like to thank you Dave for providing excellent service during such a difficult time. The rock we had you put Bear in was beautiful. The jewelry pieces my children both wear. That way, they always have a piece of Bear with them. The products are worth the money and I didn’t walk away feeling like I just got taken to the cleaners. I preplanned as our dog was old and unhealthy but people who must rely on the vets, I just want you to know you can prearrange with crematorium first and I highly recommend using “Atim Creek Pet Crematory”. Thank you again Dave
‘I want to thank you for the kind and caring service you provided me when I lost my good boy Bob. The loss of a beloved pet is such a sorrowful and overwhelming time, but I was reassured by your compassion and your ability to understand my pain. You get that they aren’t just pets to us, but cherished family members. I know that Bob was treated with the same dignity and respect with which you treated me. One of Bob’s favorite things to do on a sunny summer day was to lie on the deck amongst my flowers. He always looked so happy and relaxed there. In summertime, that’s where I’ll keep Bob’s rock urn so he can continue to enjoy the sunshine and flowers. (The urn with its engraved plaque is beautiful, by the way!) I know that I’ll need your services in the future because I’m an animal lover with several more furry friends. I will not entrust them to anyone else, and I will sing the praises of “Atim Creek Pet Crematory” to anyone I know that might require a service such as this. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!

‘We want to thank you, Dave, for your compassion and support when we had to make the very difficult decision to send our beloved Ben to doggy heaven. You were able to take care of him and we had him home with us in just a day. We had not planned in advance as it was all so sudden but you were able to provide us with the much needed support we required. You made the process comforting and healing and we can’t thank you enough. When the time comes for Ben’s sister Keisha to join him, we will certainly know who to call. We just hope we have more time. Thank you for providing this service for all of us pet owners they are our family and that is just the way you treated us. Thank you again…
‘Just to let you know, I have a new friend. We have had her for a few weeks now. My niece called and said this person had a BORDER COLLIE, and if she didn’t find a home for her, she was going to the SPCA. Damn family. So, after seeing pictures of dog and talking to the owner, off to Medicine Hat we went to look at the dog. Heck who was I kidding? There was no looking; I knew I was going to bring her home. She had an ok home, but I wasn’t impressed. So, “SKYE”, now lives with us. She is almost 8 months and a very frisky young pup. She loves to wrestle, play tug of war and bring back the rope when you throw it. Shaking a paw is also something she thinks is a reward after retrieving her rope. She is a lot of fun, and a new friend for our family. Thank you again for your kindness.
‘Glad to hear that you have another dog. I hope she lives for many years, and gives you complete enjoyment. I know she has a good home with you.
‘I don’t have a bad thing to say about Dave and his company. He doesn’t lie when he says he is the cheapest and I made many calls and I was being told some outrageous prices and along with these outrageous prices came very little compassion. But, from the moment I called “Atim Creek Pet Crematory”, they knew I loved my pet and showed the utmost respect and compassion for me and my dog even though I was bawling like a little baby. To top off the great service, respect & compassion, they allowed me to stay and watch the whole process. Throughout the process Dave took the time to get to know me and make me feel better about this sad time. Dave, my friend, I thank you for your kindness, respect and compassion. You have found your calling, even though it’s a sad job, you make it better in every way possible. If you want the best cremation for your loved pet this is the guy to call. My daughter loves the urn and the poem you gave us, thanks again. Dave, I hope to see you again but next time on better terms.

Just a note to express our thanks and appreciation for your kindness and gentle words during our sensitive time with Keisha’s passing. From the first phone call with you…..things felt easier. You will remain a sweet part of Keisha’s life story. Thanks again
Dave, Thank you so much for your compassion & incredible support during a very difficult time for me. I appreciate it very much and tell everybody I know about you. Thank you for allowing me to share the most spiritual, trusting, loving moment with Jenny. I am much clearer about life’s journey since that gift was bestowed upon me. You are truly a special man and I am honored to know you. I have enclosed an old business card with pictures of Ellie and Peppers daddy. He was a very special stallion & I miss all their physical presents everyday. Until our paths cross again. Shelly

Thank you so much for your kind, compassionate care at the passing of our beloved Kenai. You made a difficult time a little easier and we are forever grateful.
Dear Dave, I hope this note finds you well! Personally words cannot express the gratitude I felt knowing that you were looking after Ginger for me. I keep thinking about how professional, personable and sympathetic you were during my time of grief. I will never forget that day and still can’t believe how lucky we were to find you. Your promptness and compassion were more than I expected to find, during the lowest day of my life and I will be forever grateful for that. You mentioned the one day that you were taking your wife out for date night to Wendy’s, if I recall correctly. So with that , I hope you both enjoy my token of appreciation to you!! (Gift card from Wendy’s). It takes special people to do what you do and so warmly. In health and happiness. Darlene Dave to Darlene > > Thank you, god bless and keep you safe.

On behalf of my family and myself, I cannot express the gratitude I have for your service and the care you provided to us after the loss of our beloved dog Muppet.
You went far above and beyond my expectations and provided us with absolutely exceptional service. From your quick replies to my emails to being available to us late in the evening to drop out Muppet off and not rushing us to leave. Your patience allowed Colin and I the extra few minutes we needed to love on Muppet before we let her go. Those precious moments meant so much to us.
From the moment we walked in, we felt like friends instead of customers and your sincere compassion and sympathy made me know instantly that I made the right decision in bringing Muppet to you. I knew our baby girl was in the best hands possible. We felt at ease with you and we were even able to laugh a little telling stories of Muppet. Your fast service allowed us to bring Muppet home the next day which brought us such peace knowing she is now where she belongs.
Dave, I can say without a doubt you are in the right business. I feel honoured to have met you as you are truly a special soul. We will be recommending you to anyone in need of this service, and although I hope it is not anytime soon, we will be repeat customers.
Again, from the bottom of our hearts thank you for your sincere compassion and service. It will never be forgotten.
Caitlin, Dave, Tammy, Colin, and Lexie

We wanted to express our sincerest gratitude for all you did when our beloved pup Teagan passed a few weeks ago. While the family misses her dearly, we know she’s in a better place. We still look for her on a daily basis, and feel silly about it, until we realize that like all loved ones, she’s still there in our hearts (just as you said).
We wanted to say thank-you for your sympathy, understanding and patience, and for your time spent discussing things on one particular evening. A big part of what has helped is that we know that even when she was gone, she was respectfully cared for. Thank-you for that.
For those who read this- While losing a pet is hard, it’s folks like Dave that make it a little bit easier. Your pet will be respectfully cared for, as you would wish for any loved one. Dave started this business based on his own personal experiences years ago, and it’s the right business for him to be in. As a small community outside a big city, we should support each other, and there is no hesitation in saying that supporting this business is the right thing to do. Good people with good hearts are the kind of people at Atim Creek Pet Crematory.
In addition- if it wasn’t for Dave’s website, we’d have never known of the great vets (Dr. R & V Kyle) at the Tri-Municipal vet clinic in Spruce Grove, and that they’d come to our home to help us make a transition in peace. We agonized over having to drive into the city to do what needed to be done, and thanks to Dave, we met some great people. Dave is truly the best, and recommends the same.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your professional, kind and sympathetic service. You took exceptional care of our beloved “Berner” AZIA as well as of Andre and me. You helped us through the saddest day in our live with your heartfelt words and hugs. We also feel your love in the craftsmanship of creating such a beautiful resting place for Azia. She is sitting exactly at the spot where she used to sit and greet everyone coming to our home. She is forever with us in out hearts (together with Jenny).

Hi, from Henry and Kerry
Thank You Dave for all your support and help during our day of sorrow, and thank you for allowing us to be involved in Snuggles cremation it helped greatly to be a part of it and walking us through the process was very educational. Again, thank you Dave
I just want to say a great big THANK-YOU for everything you did for Tasha and I. Her death was so unexpected and sudden that I wasn’t too sure how to handle it. Atim Creek Pet Crematory did wonders easing my hard day. The small prayer we did for her was wonderful. I felt so at ease leaving her in your hands and the memorial belongings that we bought were wonderful. I recommend Atim Creek Pet Crematory to anyone who has pets and wants the best done for their family members after they pass…. Most people don’t realize it, but our pets are our family. My Tasha bear was with me for 8 years and I had good fun with her when she came with me in my welding truck and now she can always be with me in my Lil locket I got made of her…. Thank you so much again…
Henry & Kerry Thank You Dave for all your support and help during our day of sorrow, and thank you for allowing us to be involved in Snuggles cremation it helped greatly to be a part of it and walking us through the process was very educational, again thank you Dave
Duane and Shannon Dear David On February 9, 2015 we lost our beloved Jesse. To love a dog or any animal is to truly know the meaning of unconditional love. We were so very heartbroken but, as hard as this was you helped to make this process much more bearable and for that we are grateful. Listening to your story about how you came to be in this business made us feel comforted in the knowledge that you truly care about the people and animals that cross your path. Having been also greeted by your wonderful dog Bailey was also special because it was as though he were there to make us feel better about our loss and to look over and protect our most precious dog Jesse. I was truly impressed with how you were able to get our Jesse back to us within the same day and in a beautifully engraved urn at a cost that was very affordable. A very touching moment for us was as we were about to leave and you handed us a Pet Angel pin and asked us to say our final goodbyes to our sweet angel Jesse. Again just another example of much we know you care about our angel and the grief that we felt as a result of our loss. We would not hesitate to recommend you to our friends and family. Thank You again Sincerely,
June 6 2015
We appreciate the excellent care Dave (and Bailey) gave us while handling our horse, Mia. It brought us great comfort, and helped alleviate the worries we had as to whether our horse would be handled with the utmost respect and dignity she deserved, and she certainly was. Dave gets it. He has been there. From the very first contact, to the final closure of the urn, Dave kept us informed every step of the way. As many questions went through our minds during that very vulnerable time, Dave was a step ahead, knowing we would want to know when and what to expect. Dave was so patient and kind, and allowed us the time to grieve. We cannot imagine trusting Mia in any other’s care. Thank you for your compassion, and to Delany Vet Services for referring Dave to us. We truly believe that he is the best – he is the guy you need during that difficult time.
